Brain Injury Association Whanganui Board consists of a President, Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President and up to six Committee members. Monthly meetings attend to any concerns raised by the Liaison Officer or Administrator. Plan and undertake fundraising events alongside normal office holder duties undertaken in committees.Hours
Monthly meetings approximately two hours from 5pm to 7pm. Other times depending on events/fundraising involvements.Skill requirements
People ideally with (but not essential) Committee experience. Available for assisting at fundraising (i.e. raffles) or other events - if possible during the day or weekends at times.Personality requirements

Our regular Volunteering days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. We meet at 9.a.m out at Bushy Park and work on a variety of Conservation tasks around the forest and predator fence. You would need warm layers,rain gear and sturdy boots,snack/lunch and a drink bottle. We are regularly working alongside N.Z endangered birds such as stitchbird, saddleback and North Island Robin. in this beautiful mature forest. STRICTLY NO DOGS ALLOWEDHours
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am until noon. Some Volunteers stay into the afternoon.Skill requirements
Reasonable level of physical fitness .Able to work on very uneven ground, and willingness to join in working with others.Personality requirements
